Units

Our units are all semi-detached townhomes with at least one parking spot, basements, and fenced backyards.  Some driveways are long enough for two small cars, but most accommodate only one car.

Our homes are heated with natural gas furnaces, and the occupants rent gas water heaters from the gas utility.  This means that as residents our heating costs are very low and affordable.

Our homes all have new doors and windows, which also keep our energy costs down.

Members must supply their own appliances including stove, fridge, washer and dryer. Each unit has hook-ups in the basement for washers and dryers.   When members move out, they often sell their appliances to the new member moving in.  This is done on a private and case by case basis.  If the member vacating the unit is interested in selling their appliances, the Membership Committee will provide their email address to the member moving in, and the two parties can work out the details privately.

Members are responsible for the good upkeep of their unit including but not limited to regular painting, cleaning, yard work, shoveling, changing furnaces filters etc.
